Slow Summer Day

Sunday, we woke early to the cow alarm.  Oh those silly cows.  It was starting to look like another overcast day, so we briefly discussed possibly going home a day early.  After hmmmmming....and hawwwwwing.....we finally decided to stay.  Actually, we left it up to Sugar, and she voted to stay.

I took Sugar on a special 4 wheeler training expedition.  We worked on stopping and starting on an incline, shifting down before attempting and incline, and rolling gently back down an incline if she is having trouble starting on the incline.  She did great.  Learning to work those gears is coming along nicely.

Then, we had lunch, and headed on down to the river.  I did some reading, and Sugar played on the rocks, and in the water with Ivy Dog.  The Hubby did some fishing and flying of his drone.

We visited with my parents for awhile in the evening, and then had some dinner.  I was ready for bed, but The Hubby and Sugar headed back down to the river to try to catch some catfish. There was success. They didn't have any worms, but I guess they like hotdogs.  It was a late night.  Everyone one was finally in bed and asleep by midnight.
