Abstract Spider

You would not believe the amount of time I spent trying to take a decent shot of a hoverfly this evening ... It landed on several flower petals and put on some beautiful poses ... Buzzed gracefully among the leaves ... And sat patiently on the edge of a flower pot ... But no matter how hard I tried, I just couldn't get a clear image of it ... :o/

(The hoverfly eventually gave up wasting it's time on me ... got fed up ... and flew off.) ... :o(
