In these shoes...

Kirsty MacColl's song was playing on the radio as I took Bailey out for his first walk this morning and I have spent a 14 hour day in these shoes. A day requiring a bit of a costume, so a frock and red shoes required for our big end of year assembly and their performances this evening. All went brilliantly and it has been one of those days when working with young people is the best job in the world. Although, perhaps that statement has the rosy glow of being less than 24 hours away from the end of the year...
