Desert Squirrel

Tentacles

The promised sun didn't really materialise, but at least there was very little wind.  The morning walk up the hill was in dense cloud, so no blip possibilities there.

I fell back on the conservatory, as I often do when the weather doesn't play ball.  Of course most succulent flowers open only when the sun comes out, so I made do with the dying flowers of Fenstraria rhopalophylla, known colloquially as 'baby toes'.  The orange petals contrast quite nicely with the dull green of the bodies of the plant.
