Rose Of Sharon

I didn't get out of the house until late afternoon today, too busy at the computer to take the camera out.

In the evening I was working at a friend's house, as usual for Thursday, but I got there a bit early so set about doing some gardening, which I love. Once the sun came out all thoughts of weeding left me and I reached for the camera. The low light was catching the Hypericum. It has such a glorious colour, I'm surprised I've never grown it at home.

I was a bit mean and evicted the beetles and took some more shots but preffered the greyness of the bokeh on this one.
