Kat's Raised Beds

This is what we planned to do on this trip up to Edinburgh! After the garden centre visits and latte drinking yesterday it was getting down to work today at the allotments.

This is how it looked by the end of the day, from virtually empty beds this morning and high weeds three weeks ago. Katkatkat's other raised bed is over by the railings where she is busy with her dad getting her own end-of-day shots.

My job was some weeding out of couch grass and horsetail roots on the far bed then, when The Man had constructed frames, I covered them with netting.
