Honesty

When we went to the Trawden festival last weekend, we took the opportunity to pick up some cuttings.

The lady that sells them uses an honesty policy; requesting that all money be posted through her letterbox.

I definitely wanted some lupins and foxgloves, the rest we weren't too sure about, but since the most expensive plant was only £1.50 (most were 50p), we chose a few interesting options. We opted for a hardy geranium, Thalictrum (Chinese meadow rue), Astilbe & Alchemilla Mollis (Lady's mantle).

We posted our money through the door, just as the lady came home. She exclaimed 'oh! Flipping heck!' when she saw the cash on the mat.

Mr A has planted them today, so fingers crossed they will do well :-)
