Learning day by day

Swimmer boy

Will gets very cross these days if I don't have a comb or a brush for his hair after swimming. The style has to be just so. The fact he has only been bothered to button one button of his shirt is beside the point.

The day started by spotting my children on Good Morning Britain. The filming happened yesterday and it was all about summer holidays. The irony is that our school doesn't finish until Wednesday!  Carys was interviewed and Will was in the background. All in all the school and the children in particular came across so well. Another reminder of why we are so lucky to have our kids at this school.

I spent the rest of the day trying to sort Carys's stuff for France, make sure she has stuff to wear this week and pack up her room so it can be decorated while we are away. Nightmare job and the packing up bit is still on going.

Kids came out of school hyper after their "High flying day for a high flying school. " Both have made and flown kites, had a picnic lunch and generally had a fab day. Carys also was awarded full sports colours again for representing school in athletics.

We had our end of term staff night out which was good, but no one is looking forward to the next three days. Roll on 15.20 on the 22nd July.
