Empty platter syndrome

A rather damp and challenging day.  With our surprise guests enjoying a long lie we thought it only fair to prepare a little snack.  This is straight from my recipe book - available now from all good shibeens.  Once the guests had departed CMC went and did her lion tamer act with the three kittens whilst I removed the stove from the living room, which was easier than anticipated.  Tonight we are double-booked - venturing out to a 60tha birthday party and for a meal at the Foveran.
