THE GRASSHOPPER IN THE FIELD

I met on our walk along the Weser. In the afternoon, when the temperature was not too high any longer.
Of course I opted for a banded damselfly, but we did not see one.
Piet Hein wanted to swim in the river and when he did I stepped in the field, walking very slowly, looking for those amazing creatures. I saw green and brown grasshoppers, and some red bugs keeping each other company.
This one would just do for today.
Thank you all very much for the lovely comments, stars and hearts on the grasshopper, blip of yesterday.

My haiku:

They like to hide when
They feel they are observed by
Me but not this one

And the proverb:

Hide nothing from thy minister, physician, and lawyer.
