Rail and sail

What a fabulous day .... 
we are staying in South Devon in the caravan ... not too far from Madchickenwoman in Calstock, so a blipmeet was a must.

We had a wonderful day, looking round Calstock, walking over to Cotehele, but not quite making it to the house.   Much chat and laughter, putting the word to rights, discussions on the merits of chickens, rodents, ice-cream ... and much else in between. 

After the walk it was back to pub in Calstock and then food,  more chat, ice cream with espresso (bliss), introductions to gecko and snake, the trying on of many a fine hat until it was time for  us to head back at the mercy of satnav and MCW had to go and perform chicken duties.

A day well spent ... many photos taken, some in extras.  Just couldn't decide which to blip ....  The one featured is Calstock viaduct with a train going over it ...

A white horse we came across who kept stopping to take stock of it's surroundings.

A round ended building in Calstock whch made me think of Greek windmills ( possibly because of telegraph wires)
