Part Two

Today was our last day at Disneyland. Naturally we didn't get in as early as planned. It took us forever to pack up the tons of stuff we'd brought and managed to strew over every inch of our cabin!
We have got our routine worked out and I headed to the Haunted House with Miss E while Mr K Fastpassed Thunder Mountain and took Miss L to the park.
The rest of the day carried on much as usual. We're nothing if not a family of habit!!
Meat at the Cowboy Cookout, Pirates of the Caribbean, Thunder Mountain, Buzz - where Miss E got her personal best score by a mile. 195,550!! She was rightly proud of herself!!
Then it was time to say a bientot to Disneyland.
But not before we stocked up on mugs, travel mugs, keyrings and notebooks!
Mr K did a great job negotiating the Paris traffic and we soon arrived in Giverny - our home for the next three days.
We're staying at Les Jardins d'Helene a beautiful B&B. We have a little wing to ourselves - a bedroom for the Little Misses, our own bathroom and toilet and our bedroom. It's all so French and gorgeous! The gardens are amazing and the house is full of art and music and flowers and pretty things. The owner, Mme S, is lovely - attentive without being intrusive. Perfect!
We headed to the supermarket in nearby Vernon to get some food for the Little Misses.I was thinking some strawberries, maybe some cooked chicken, a bit of cheese and a banana.
Mr K went in and came out - an hour later - with a huge platter of parma ham and salami, a weird concoction of grated carrot and olive oil, some olives (which we already had), some oranges and some gluten free biscuits (which we already had).
An hour.
We may have had words!
Then it was back to the B&B garden for our cured meat feast (because you can't eat enough cured meat in one day!), a quick game of badminton and then bed.
It was so lovely laying on our beautiful French bed with the window open, watching the sky go dark. Just gorgeous!
