Sleepy old boy.

This is Ash he is an elderly Mainois (Belgian Shepherd).  The reason he is a sleep in our house is we intited his owner round (with his chainsaw) to do a little "Light Pruning" on one branch of a large Bird's Cherry in the garden.

It turned out to be a busy day, the usual preparation of the lodge for the next guests was made more drawn out by a combination of factors.  Firstly we decided to spend a little extra time changing the filters in the cooker hood.  Secondly we had a lady coming to see the lodge as she is going to clean for us while we are visiting the |Grandchildren and our usual relief cleaner is on holiday.   The whole thing was then complicated by the guests arriving an hour and a half before they are supposed to.

All this made the "pruning" seem simple..  We followed it up with a nice  Thai meal (well done CC) followed  a few whiskies, a film and then bed.
