Wild Garden

Firstly thanks to everyone for all your comments and stars and hearts on Mr Jack Frost yesterday, it seems to have caught your imagination. Have to say as I keep looking at it, I find it hard to believe that there is so much detail in such a tiny little fragment...and shortly after it had melted and disappeared.

Much more mundane today. Woke to a coating of snow on the mountain and a rather brisk southerly that kept us pretty cold all day. Spent a good part of it sewing a shirt.

This afternoon I wandered up the road to a large garden that is full of wonderful shrubs, trees and bulbs. It is a holiday property and the owners spent all their time here tending to it. Sadly the husband passed away and the wife hasn't been here for almost 12 months so apart from the lawns getting mowed everything is looking rather neglected.  But there were little daffodils poking their heads up, some iris plants blooming and the magnolia buds are getting ready to bloom. Love their furry coats.
