Halls Fell Ridge - Blencathra

Imagine how surprised I was when my daughter, Emma, turned round to me and said "I'd love to do one of the high peaks with you Dad" the other day. This is someone who has lived in the Lakes for 16 years and shown no interest in walking whatsoever. I was delighted, and we chose Halls Fell Ridge on Blencathra. The last time I did it, it was a bit cloudy, and I really didn't get to see the view. Today was glorious. Warm and sunny (at the bottom) cool and breezy at the top. Emma lapped it up, and said that ultimately she'd like to do all the Wainwrights!
