One species each day (from my backyard)

The weather was miserable again, too wet and windy to get outside with my camera. Luckily Ellen had brought some camellia branches home which were now standing on the fridge (in the room, because the kitchen was ready to put new vinyl, but that's a saga of it's own). The new LED light lit the wall behind the small camellia flowers, so I set up the tripod on top of the fridge and took this photo. Something different for a change, but.... There are between 100 - 250 described camellia species, so I'm not even attempting this time. Camellia sp. it is! (oh, by the way, I figured out how to separate the species name from the genus name in the tags ;-))
