Christmas in July!

What a lovely, thoughtful, talented person that Subjunctive is!  Yesterday, when I went to check the mailbox, I discovered a small package.  Upon opening it, I found this beautiful hand made infinity scarf, proudly sporting American stars and British Union Jacks. (I am an American, but spent my first 19 years in England.)  Also enclosed was a sweet note -- also hand made.  Such a wonderful surprise gave me a very special feeling of warmth that was completely different from the one the 90 degree weather was making me feel.  I can't wait for the snow to fly and the frost to coat the windows now!
