Tremadog

Somewhere behind those trees is today's climb, which was called Grim Wall (for those who want to look it up!). For me it certainly lived up to it's name because both of the two pitches contained a tricky move across the rock face, with hands clinging to a ledge and very little for the feet.  I'd just done that bit in the extra photo.  But I was pleased with myself as I managed the first pitch well, and on the second pitch I only hung on the rope, i.e. needed a little help, briefly before reconnecting with the rock and finishing the move.

Then we went to Criccieth for a wander around the town and an ice-cream.
