Tryfan and the Glyders
Over the road from the climbing club hut and straight up Tryfan... and I do mean straight up. S called it scrambling, but I call it climbing, although actually that part of it was far less exhausting than the walking. But to be honest, if a walk doesn't include a fair bit of steep ascent, it's not as good as it might be.
At the top of Tryfan we descended a little - thankfully not much - before going up Bristly Ridge and over the Glyders, shown in the photo, and then down past the Devil's Kitchen and back to the road.
There's more information here.
What a great walk, and do you know what makes it even better... over-taking lots of much, much younger people!
