Harbour evening

A day of contrasts; a lot of walking up and down hills, and a few hours on the beach and swimming. At lunchtime we met a lovely lady originally from Birmingham who used to run her own bar 'Jean and Tonic' until she retired a couple of years ago; she has lived on the island for many years. This evening we went down to the harbour area (Yialos); this was the view from the bar where we had our first drink and then we went along for an excellent meal at the restaurant I mentioned a couple of days ago where the Lithuanian lady works. She was very pleased to see us and we had a bit of a chuckle with her over the noisy but very happy young party in the restaurant from the All Saints Church in Detroit USA who were clearly crewing a yacht and having their last meal with the Captain before returning home.
