Globe on Tour

Today's the day ................... for 'a plague on both your houses'

We had a welcome break from house-hunting this evening by going to see Romeo and Juliet - part of the  Shakespeare's Globe on Tour  Summer Programme.

Blackwell - the Arts & Crafts House, overlooking Windermere was the perfect venue for this outdoor performance.  We took collapsible chairs and a picnic with us - and amazingly the rain held off.  The talented cast (including Tom Kanji below who played Friar Laurence and Benvolio) made it all a night to remember ..........................
