Aglag-Buteel Monastery and temple

Our first full day in Mongolia, and a visit to a fascinating avant-garde Buddhist temple and monastery. The paths were dusty and steep, which made progress around the grounds interesting, but there were some great photo opportunities. 

I loved the way the inscription was carved into this huge rock adjacent to the Stupa in the grounds.
