Relaxing on the speed boat to Bali

After a lazy morning we finally say our goodbyes and head to the harbour where we board a speed boat going to Bali. It only takes a couple of hours and we sit on the floor on the top deck getting sun and windswept. Not the most comfortable ride we've ever had but it's over pretty quickly. It's then the usual confusion with minibuses but we get on one which is meant to take us to our hotel near the airport. Ten minutes later we stop at the side of the road and some people swap into ours and we swap into theirs and eventually it seems we're all on the right buses.

First stop, Densepar Airport and then we are meant to be taken to our hotel. After quite a tense conversation with the driver and his side kick who tell us we must get out here, we eventually decide they actually have no idea where our hotel is and, as we know it's close, we get out.

Next we try to negotiate a taxi but they are all trying to rip us off and Andy gets annoyed ... we decide  to walk and, after asking directions a couple of times and wandering along the main road for a bit, we find it.

Dinner at a local warung and a bit of shopping for essentials which are much cheaper here than on Gili and we're ready for bed.
