Climb Every Mountain........

We live in "Goatfell View". 

Last night, Tooli announced that on her day off, she and her mates would be climbing Goatfell. 

Goatfell is the highest mountain on the little Isle of Arran.   Arran lies 22 miles off the coast of Scotland.   The Ferry leaves from 17 miles up the coast.  It takes 55 minutes to get to Arran. 

Goatfell is 2866 ft.    There is a 3 mile constructed path to assist.   We reckoned, and then checking on Google. that it would take at least 5 hours up and down. 

Then she announced she had the dentist at 9.30.  - so she wouldn't be getting the 730 ferry.   She sent me a photo of her making breakfast at 1015.    So 11 o'clock ferry it must have been. 

We seriously doubted that they would make it up and down and get back for the ferry.   

How wrong we were - text at the back of 7 to say they were on the Ferry and they had made it up and down and were heading back to the mainland for something to eat before heading home. 

Wow.  To have that much energy!
