Härnösand - the Summer Waterfront

After a long period away from town we took a trip into Härnösand today. Jan had an appointment and since it was (still) raining at home and there was (still) no chance to work in the garden I went along for the ride.
Once in town the weather brightened up a little and we saw the sun for the first time in days. We could also see how dynamic the sky was with towering cumulus all around, dark and heavy with moisture.
Loking towards home we could see the rain slanting down once again so it felt we had made the right decision.
This is another one for the growing "Härnösand + sea" collection.
In the foreground you can see Jan sitting on the quay taking some photos so it wouldn’t surprise me if she has a similar Blip today. (She has!)
My extra photo is taken from the bridge looking away from the northern sound, a 180° turn from the main blip.  It was also taken before the sun broke through.
There was also my daily catch-up backblip, this time for the 19 July, on sourdough meditation.  Only 2 more days to backblip and I'll be up-to-date.
