Geraniums for Tea

I decided to take Basil for a walk up at Oaks in Charnwood on Charnwood Forest while Len was playing social tennis at the tennis club.

After he'd finished, we adjourned to Lubcloud Farm Tea Rooms on the other side of the valley were we saw these teapot planters with geraniums. White geese were roaming, as were two Silkie chickens.

I'd quite thought that both were hens, until one started to crow.

While up on the hill on our walk, I'd found the 4G signal on my phone to be very strong. Just a few hundred yards as the crow flies across the valley to the tea rooms, there was hardly any signal at all. Even with tall masts nearby.

No photo yesterday. I'd had a tooth out and wasn't feeling up to much.
