Thoughtful Gift...

Backblip...

When we got home yesterday and Gill and Cameron were waiting for us, I was reminded of how incredibly lucky we are to have such wonderful people supporting our boy (and us)

Gill had got some shopping for us and had also bought a lovely bunch of flowers for me.  A simple gesture but appreciated so much.  There bunch contained yellow roses and purple stocks and the perfume coming from the stocks has scented the hall all day.  It's beautiful.

Today has been a day of recovering from our journey and getting Alan sorted with the right meds to get him well again.  He took his first dose of steroids with no complaint whatsoever.  And so begins the slow road to recovery.

No time or inclination to pick up my camera today so an iPhone shot of one of the roses (and a little faffery) is all I could muster.
