Raindrops keep falling!

I think it rained all day Friday! Must be my fault as it was my first day of leave!

We had a good day regardless. We went swimming first thing so didn't mind the drenching we got getting from the car park to the pool! We warmed up with a nice cooked breakfast at Bluebell afterwards.

We also popped to our usual haunt - the Library :) it was great to see that so many kids are doing the Summer Reading Challenge. The kids have to read six books over the summer hols. Lots have made a good start already, getting through two and they all have their names up on the wall of fame. Leo was most put out not to find his name on the six wall so he went and got another one to pin up - his must have gone AWOL at some point! I think he took the theme - Record Breakers - to heart and he whizzed through his six books at top speed! I am delighted to report that the stickers this time around are no where near as pinky as the batch that came with the Scary House theme a few years back - the house needed depending after those!
