Honed in Hydrangea

A quietist day............all slept in until after 8 :-)

Mum took Emily to her swimming lesson, followed by gymnastics .......whilst we pottered in the garden, deadheading, watering, picking etc. etc. I took quite a few shots around the garden..........whilst the sun was shining, although it was still quite windy! I was particularly happy with this close up :-)

We treated ourselves to egg and bacon on toast for lunch, which was rather scrumptious ;-) we watched the rest of the Athletics on TV this afternoon, in between more pottering and some laundry.

Dinner was light again, flash fried steak with sweet chilli and garlic sauce served on a bed of green salad from the garden, with multicoloured tomatoes, cucumber, radish, peppers, red onion.....and anything else I could find to throw in ;-)

Our lodgers were out visiting other family and ate out. Arrived home afterwards....Emily wanted to ride her bike outside for a while. Then it was TV.....Emily watching a Disney film on the iPad, daughter was watching something else on her Kindle, partner playing a game on his mobile whilst we watched the TV proper........oh the modern digital age ;-)
