A bit of a surprise ..

I visited mum in hospital this afternoon. First I asked for an update ..  the nurse started reading out her notes ..  She had an X-ray of her pelvis (I knew - I was there), she was admitted to the Acute Assessment Ward (I knew this too), yesterday she had CPR, she ...... HANG ON! CPR??

Yes - apparently yesterday she had a cardiac arrest after climbing four stairs for the physio, and was given CPR and brought back after 10 seconds.

Wouldn't you think someone would have mentioned that to me before I asked what was going on?

In other news ..  I stopped at the little owl tree and to my amazement - found a barn owl!
