The Watermill in Glendaruel

14.9C starting bright (in the West) then cloudier later with rain forecast. Moderate breeze.

After a very comfortable night in the "Joiner's Shop" suite (which can be rented as self catering)  we had a leisurely breakfast (during which a red squirrel came down the hill and climbed up the bird table ... bonus!), then took Maeve the Deerhound for a little wander along a short section of The Cowal Way in Glendaruel. We came back to the car and set off for home.

In the reverse of yesterday's journey we drove up the length of the Cowal peninsula then took the road for Inverary where we had a stop and a walk. Back on the road we carried on until we were past Perth then we turned off and went for lunch at The Tufted Duck at Rait where we go if we are on one of our trips to the Antique centre there.

An excellent weekend was had by all :-)
