Breakfast time

This female blackbird brought newly fledged chicks into my garden  and the photo is of her sitting on the roof of next door's shed with a beak full of grubs for the babies. Unfortunately she was feeding them behind some plants so I couldn't get a shot.

I went for a walk with the walking group this morning . The extra shot is why you should hurry over railway lines! There was no level crossing so we walked across but there was a bit of a queue for the stile when the train whizzed by!
