The day after

It was SI cold last night the heating was on and I almost had to drag out the winter duvet.  Summer!!!

Further clearing up this morning, a phone call to check all well in the Manor then to work in the rain.  

Much going on today: problems remaining with a PIN, assisting F setting up Skype and bringing records up to date.  I planned to leave at 5. Needless to say it was 6.45 when I did.

Interesting info from #3 son.  he's been researching my grandfather's military records at the Castle.  Turns out he won his MM about 5 miles from where our French family live in Arras.  But he was my paternal grandfather and the French family are on my maternal side. Curious coincidence though.
