The Forbidden Pool

Why's it forbidden, no one knows, except maybe a Tolkien linguist might. This pool was situated in the Lowether Castle Gardens by an old summer house, this is the view looking out on to it, just a bit more zoomed in.

For this shot, I contrasted the reflection and the rest of the shot separately to add more of a liquid effect, I also used duplicated layer set at 30% opacity and then Gaussian blurred and masked off the smaller foliage and the water.
