Watch out, Marmaduke is about!

Taken in Holmfirth this afternoon while Ann hunted for books in Daisy Lane Books I hunted for blips (and Marmaduke wasn't hunting for anything, except perhaps for a snuggle  - it's much easier to let people do the hunting.)  Holmfirth is an old mill town made famous in `The Last of the Summer Wine' tv series.  The tall stone houses and lanes are arranged vertically up the steep valley sides.  This area feels a bit neglected and uncared for - possible because the adjacent house is for sale.

We had a few hours out today while my sister stayed with mum.  She had another night when the `rapid response team' came out twice,  once to top her up with more anti-sickness  medication and once to turn the bleeper off on her syringe driver.  Unlike the night before I wasn't in charge.  We'd been allocated a Marie Curie sitter for the night.  Mum is getting increasingly weaker and more uncomfortable, but amazingly is still fighting.   We're on our own again tonight so we're hoping for a peaceful night.

I'm running behind with blips this week, so maybe I'll catch up later.
