Tiny elephant

For Tiny Tuesday I thought I'd take a photo of a tiny ivory elephant given to me by my elderly neighbour when I was a small child.  It is only a centimetre long and has a hoop on its back, presumably to be used as a charm.

I remember very little of her, but my sisters tell me she used to tell them really interesting tales of her life in India with her husband.  She gave one of my sisters a tiny Bible, and we had a small tea casket from her that we used for our 'special things' that children like to keep.  But being a small child, I mainly remember getting her a weekly bag of nougat from the sweet shop, and getting a small piece of it as a reward. Life is nice and simple as a child :)
