Mirid bug

I was actually photographing plants this afternoon when this small mirid bug photo bombed! It suddenly appeared in the shot and posed for some time on a fragment of flint. I felt it would be callous not to give her (I think) a bit of a feature this evening. She is properly  known as Adelphocoris lineolatus or Lucerne Bug/Alfalfa Bug to those with just a passing aquaintance. I think she's rather beautiful in an understated way. She is very common in the UK, feeding on restharrow, vetches and clovers, but considered a pest in the USA and some other countries.
