Not Playing Ball

The Flumlet knows that the ball is supposed to disappear after being posted through the hole but, as the red button wasn't working, the ball just fell out again. This was still enormous repeatable fun until he developed a technique of such delicacy that the ball rested behind the rim without falling out, so we all pretended that was the aim in the first place.

( There is a huge pipe at the top through which a draught of air carries the balls back to the ball pit opposite. The other part of the equipment was indeed working).
