Last day in Cuba

In the airport about to fly back to Mexico and we can't help thinking that if we ever come back to Cuba it will have changed dramatically with their relaxing of immigration laws and the increasing numbers of tourists.
Returning to Havana after a few days seemed easier as we already had our bearings and had seen everything we wanted to see. We spent the day just roaming around the old town exploring the many laneways and got milkshakes and churros at two of the plazas. We also found O'Reilly street and read about the historic relationship between Ireland and Cuba which revolves around both countries being involved in revolutions.
That evening, our last in Cuba, we ate a delicious dinner at Cafe Maximo in Havana Vieja, close to the Melacon and stayed there drinking amazing frapé mojitos until later that night. We finished our Cuban experience by walking back down the moonlit Malecon towards our casa.
Having said goodbye to Luis this morning and thanked him for his hospitality, we will soon be back in Mexico heading for the beaches and ruins of Tullum.
