Flower Friday - Echium

Thank goodness this is an early flowering variety of Echium.  It supports the honey eaters, such as the Eastern Spine Bill and the New Holland Honey Eater, both very small birds; and the bees, and without it in the front garden, there wouldn't be an awful lot of nectar around.

It's Friday again - gosh the weeks roll round so quickly.
