Safely home

I am delighted to report that the twins are safely home in the warmth of Las Vegas and this is a photo sent by their happy parents. Robyn  still needs a bit of help from oxygen through the night as you can tell from the wee patch on her cheek where the cannula  can be attached, however both girls are content and pleased to be home with both their parents at last. They had been back in the UK for a long two months, one of which poor Robyn spent in the hospital. Thank you to everyone for your positive thoughts and comments which really helped support us all.

Tomorrow I am off to Carrbridge on holiday to be joined by my daughter and her family. It is hard to believe that the twins were born so prematurely almost a year ago while we were there last year. It has certainly been a roller coaster for all concerned and I still marvel at the expertise of those doctors in the NICU in Las Vegas to whom we owe so much.
