Blue Moon Rising over the Axarquia

Tonight was a blue moon - the second full moon in this calendar month . The first was on the 2nd of July.

The next blue moon will be on the 31st of January 2018 quickly followed by another two months later.

Tonight's was clear and white but I saw it in a Spanish summer sky still tinged with blue after an unusually cloudy day ( for here).
