Rail and Bike to Skipton

Absolutely lovely weather, so early from my bed and out to the station. Took the train to Leeds where I had to change for Skipton. Beautiful stone buildings and chimneys which give such character and as you will note the station is  rather lovely and well maintained .Then on my bike to Skipton Antiques where a rummage resulted in my buying a little blue jug. Would have loved this chaise longue .A real snip . Inside the store met several fascinating characters..Then out for a snack followed by a bike ride along the canal .(In the cafe saw the funny book and some how it summed up my day) . Later saw wonderful cygnets and so much more.Skipton has much to offer and provides a great day out ..
