Elgin Cathedral

It is quite amazing that the roof of the chapter house (circa 1270) is still standing in the ruined cathedral and is still so beautiful. Historic Scotland describes Elgin Cathedral one of Scotland’s most ambitious and beautiful medieval buildings.
