Flower Friday 31... and another anniversary!

Having celebrated our wedding anniversary on Wednesday, today marks another anniversary - it's 17 years to the day since we moved into this house.  We celebrated by visiting the very same local  Indian restaurant that we went to on that evening in 1998.  Well actually only 3 of us went - son, Mr MC and myself: both daughters were staying with friends  during the move and were very reluctant to return to  what was then a very brown house décor wise,  with an indoor coal cellar!

My shot for today's Flower Friday is of the lavender in the front garden, drying nicely for picking.
