The local House Sparrows are still producing young!

There were fledglings a plenty of the lawn this afternoon. Wonderful to see!

It just goes to prove the point about not cutting back your hedgerows until at least mid August. Most birds have stopped, but there are still those nesting, and lets be honest House Sparrows need all the help they can get!
