Home grown

Home grown is a stretch but not by much.

I grew the lettuce and parsley, Dad grew the lemons, and I caught and smoked the trout. As I recall he was a feisty wee sea run from the Waimak.

The capers, extra virgin olive oil, and salt and pepper, I have the supermarket to thank for them ;-)

On a mild spring like day it was just the fare for my lunch. I have another another version prepared for lunch tomorrow. So much green goodness and good oils.

I've listened to my body and kept today very low key. My head ache has gone and I'm feeling less tired than I was. I'll be in fine fettle tomorrow :-)
