A Day of Two Halves

This morning we had heavy rain, even so, 12 walkers turned up at the meeting place, and we headed to a local cafe for a cuppa.  At 11 a.m. it was still raining, so we decided to meet again at 1 p.m. as long as the rain had stopped.  7 turned up, and we had a lovely walk from Albert Town, down the true left of the Clutha River for an hour, then turned back and completed the walk by doing the loop track.  A simply wonderful afternoon's walk, and not a cloud in the sky!.  This photo is of Mike surveying the 'Butterfield's Wetland', and the extra photo is of the walkers outside the local cafe.  Aren't we a colourful lot!  Thanks to Steve for taking the group photo.
