Clivestock: Sunday Morning

Second wake up in the field to wonderful sunshine, I like camping when it's like this, cooking, socialising and especially packing up your tent is so much better with the sun on your back.

After bacon sandwiches cooked on the firepit grill, we packed up our stuff before heading down to where they were building the wall of our 'Art' from the previous day (See Extra). The close up tile is of my favourite one by the very talented Jodie. Throughout the weekend you can hear a little jingle over the PA system encouraging the men to "Wee in the Hedge" to prevent the over use of the porta-loos. The wall is going to be a permanent fixture and was created by men, woman, children and individuals under the influence of much alcohol (Simon now knows this, at the time he didn't).

So Clivestock is over for another year, lots of fun was had, lots of money raised for charity and now we can just look forward to another one next year.

Pictured are the wonderful Sarah, Sean and Jason who work so hard with Clive the farmer/land owner in creating such a bloody brilliant event.

In other BIG news after spending a weekend with no signal in a field, the moment we rise over the hill our phones start buzzing with many notifications. One of these Tings was letting us know we were successful with our bid on the house we put in on Friday. We are both very happy about the news but as the agent said "you need to stop partying as we have a house to renovate". Getting such a great weekend in before lots of hard work starts was brilliant.
