Intrepid three ..... Or four

I was going to drive here early yesterday and enjoy a walk before the family arrived but I was simply lucky to be able to pack the car in the dry ...... When I did leave it was bucketing! The journey took more time than usual as there was a mini T in the Park being held over the week end so Aviemore was buzzing. The family eventually arrived in the early evening and it was brilliant to be all together and the dogs were very excited.

Today was fine and we went on one of our favourite walks around Loch n'Eilean. The boys were on their bikes and both Bruce and Cara must have run about four times the distance as they ran between them all. We were out for about four hours and by the time we found our way to the derelict building on the island the boys decided to go in for a swim, much to Cara's delight, and they all had a great time despite the cold water! Luckily my daughter is always well prepared for such eventualities and had towels and dry clothes. We finished the day by spending half an hour in the swimming pool attached to the complex - needless to say we all slept like logs after all the excercise!
